What the Bird Park is

The Parque das Aves is a conservation park in the middle of the Atlantic rainforest in Foz do Iguaçu, where you walk through giant aviaries and see birds from the region and around the world up close. It's right across from the entrance to Iguaçu National Park (the Brazilian side of the falls), so it combines very well.

  • Hours: in 2026 it opens in the morning and closes in the afternoon (March to July, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm), but it can change with the season: confirm on the official site.

From Puerto Iguazú you cross the Tancredo Neves Bridge and go through immigration in both countries. Keep your ID handy and leave early.
